The programme will take place in the region called Galicia, in the northwest of Spain, Santiago de Compostela being its capital. This area has an abundance of nature and some of the best beaches in Spain. It is also well known for its gastronomy and for its rich historical and cultural heritage.
The programme will take place at the Peares Language Immersion Centre (www.centropeares.es), under the following conditions:
From Monday to Friday, the activities will take place in and around the facility and will be carried out entirely in English.
On Saturdays and Sundays we will celebrate our Spanish Weekends in which we will visit several of the nearby cities that stand out for their cultural interest (Santiago de Compostela, Ourense…), and we will be able to swim in some of the best beaches in Galicia. We will also get to know and practice different manifestations of the Spanish language and culture (flamenco dancing, traditional music, gastronomy…).
As of 1 May 2022, Spain is almost back to pre-pandemic normality.
The use of face masks is only mandatory in public transport, health care establishments and nursing homes.
Should this situation change in the coming weeks, the programme organisers will adapt the programme to the requirements imposed by the Spanish government.

In the event of an accident once in Spain, you will be covered by accident insurance which will provide you with access to private health care when necessary.
We have a nursing service on site to treat minor injuries.
Of course you can. Participants will have 30 minutes a day to use their mobile phones. In addition, families will be able to access a programme blog where we will be posting photographs and information about the group’s activities.
